"The ultimate goal for pilots joining our Namibia expeditions: maximum speed and maximum distance."
About me
My name is Dmitry Borovyk
I am a certified FI(S) Gliding Instructor and Glider Examiner with more than 14 years of flying experience in the Alps and Namibia. Over the years, I have trained pilots of all levels—from their first thermal flights to successful preparation for the Sailplane Pilot License (SPL) examination.
My teaching philosophy is based on a structured and methodical approach. Every flight is supported by detailed pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings, helping pilots quickly identify mistakes, improve their decision-making, and accelerate their progress.
A strong emphasis is placed on flight safety. Training includes in-depth weather analysis and decision-making techniques for challenging conditions, particularly in mountain flying environments.
The training program follows a clear and progressive pathway, guiding pilots from their first solo flights through to SPL license preparation and examination.
Training and radio communication are available in Russian, English, and French, and I also provide assistance with all required administrative and licensing documentation.
